Put in for your permits sooner than later!!!
« on: May 18, 2017, 08:15:04 AM »
Don't be that guy that waits till the last day to submit!!  This year will have it's problems and if you wait till the last day you could very well have issues that need to be delt with after the deadline.  There is a good chance this years results will be delayed. The lady at wdfw  that finally fixed my dads issues with his tags told me to please, please, please don't wait.  Don't be that anchor in our system!!!  never could understand why people wait, your name doesn't go to the top of the pile!!   Rant over
“In common with”..... not so much!!

I suppose the only people hurt by waiting to long to submit, are the people that waited to long to submit. Am I wrong? I don't think there's a grace period.

I am waiting on putting elk permits in right now. Want to see what happens for me and my buddy in Colorado and Utah if possible before putting in. Have all my other permits in but holding off on elk until we find out if we have other hunts to plan. That's my excuse  :chuckle:

10 bucks says there will be this year. I would also venture a guess that we may not see results until July.  :twocents:

Not sure if it did this for everyone. But when I submitted it would not let me choose my hunt choices until WDFW had the payment from my credit card. Some reason this took 2 days to clear, in the meantime the system had let me purchase the hunts but NOT select the GMU's that I wanted to put in for until the system updated.

I would certainly throw 10 down that we do not see results  until after Father's Day.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we get results sooner than we are use to. There will be no grace period for procrastinators and WDFW will save a little face for the complications already experienced this year.

Unfortunately, I think you will be correct. Everything else has been late, and the permit deadline is a week later than it was last year.

June 16th will be the date this year. My prediction. No issues with multi-season and spring bear.
