Why would anyone wait until the last day to put in?

I waited until the last minute because I was waiting for results from other states. I got my email from Utah last night at 6:00. I also found out I didn't draw for Colorado elk yesterday. I waited & would do it again.

Computers crash, systems go down, stuff happens. Happens to me at work at times as well.

Plan for that potential ahead and the world will be a much more stress free place.

:yeah: I'll never understand the procrastinators but I do get it if your waiting for results from other states.  But that's about the only reason to wait, I'd have no sympathy for anyone who didn't get in because they just waited and the system crashed at the last minute.

Oftentimes people can't afford them until the last minute.  These things are expensive and I know several people who had to break it out over several pay periods.

I've been busy turkey and bear hunting, I thought about this all week while out hunting but kept forgetting when I'm home, remembered again yesterday while hunting but was up late skinning and up before daylight to get hunters off for the day, I had completely forgotten! THANKS for the reminder!

Understand it can be a big chunk to lay out all at once, but you know you ar going to do it, so why not toss a few bucks back after hunting season to be ready for the next and avoid the stress of finding it all at once???
