Slumber Jack Rail Hauler 2500
« on: June 12, 2017, 09:39:53 AM »
I did a search and couldn't find anything on this pack here (unless I suck at searching). I prefer an external pack. It looks like itll fit what I want to do with it as the top bar isn't going to be above me head. it looks pretty compact. I've read quite a few reviews that were good and couldn't find any bad. Does anyone here have real world experience with this pack?

I just got the badlands summit from midway, it's on sale for $170 no shipping or tax. It's really nice, carries weight really well. Belt is a little big so have to tighten it almost all the way and I'm just 34 waist. Their Ox frame is also on sale for around $180, heard it's a really good frame and they're releasing a bag for it this year.
They is where you aint and you aint where they is.

I have one and like it a lot.  Very well built, light, strong and sit good on my back.  I use it for Elk hunting mainly and it easily hauls out a boned out half.  Well, easy for it...  Me not so much.  Three of us have them and all like them.

I just ordered mine Monday on camofire. 163 shipped to my house. I made sure to read the return policy so once I get it tomorrow or Thursday I have 10 days to decide if it is right for me. Hopefully in the over the next few years ill be doing backcountry hunts.
