Grays River 5056 Disabled permit
« on: June 16, 2017, 01:51:18 PM »
Here's my shout out... I got drawn for disabled hunter tag as my 4th choice and wondered if anyone has any input. The tag isn't until Feb 15th to the 28th of 2018. A frIends dad lives down in Chinook in town.  I'll see what he has to say as soon as I get his phone number. The area description says within 1&1/2 miles of the agricultural areas for a long stretch. I will be going down that way and knocking on some doors, just wondering if anyone has any input...
Thanks

Call the WDFW Conflict Specialist for that area.

My daughter also was drawn this tag as well for the youth hunt during the end of December. Planning to go over to the region office here and Vancouver and see what I can come up with. I hunt in that area but never that side of the highway and definitely not on public land

Have your daughter call the WDFW conflict person.  Bet she will get names and numbers and perhaps the landowners will get a call too.  Good lesson for her.

Call the WDFW Conflict Specialist for that area.
Thanks for the heads up... I emailed region 6 and asked about the hunt even though it's region 5 I believe... Seems like looking at the map of the region, region 6 would be the people that might know what's up. I asked about the conflict specialist for the hunt.  Hopefully I'll get some feedback  (like telling me to contact region 5)...
Thanks again...
Bruce
