Knight Bighorn Sights
« on: June 28, 2017, 12:14:05 PM »
I'm sure it's on here somewhere. I wish to put on a peep site of my Bighorn. Can someone direct me to where I can purchase one and maybe advise on how to install?

Thanks, elksnout

Go to the Williams Gun sight website . They have one for the bighorn. Very easy to install. Your gun should already be drilled and tapped.

Numrich has been out of the $35 ones for years now.

Midway had the cheapest price for the peep that I found (about $60)

Were you wanting the front ramp sight and hood also?

I think I have the part # list somewhere.

I have 2 front fiber optics coming tomorrow (one for mine, and one for buddies)

We are trying to get the front fiber centered inside the hood

Midway:

Williams FP-Legend Peep sight (williams # 54250)  Midway # 128818  this is the black one

On my Williams peep, the actual peep is only secured from sliding left or right (or falling off completely in the field) by a very small screw. Now that I'm sighted in, I've put some Loctite blue on the rail and on that little screw.

Just helped install a peep, front sight and hood on another Bighorn.
That Williams sight from Midway is improved from my older model.  It has white lettering for "UP" and "RT"

FYI, the .312 high front bead is very close to centered inside the hood.

We also remove the red fiber optic, and replace with green.  Much easier to see in the twilight.

Williams FP....easy install/adjustable.   Perfect with factory front sight.   Will order the two next larger apertures to find the one I like the most.  The stock size is a little small for me in low light situations....and totally removing is too large for me.

Taller front sight.  Did you put on the Williams front?

Which Williams # did you use for the front sight and ramp?  There are different heights avail for each.
