Which Williams # did you use for the front sight and ramp?  There are different heights avail for each.

There is only one streamlined ramp that will fit a Knight correctly.  Because of the 1.625" hole spacing, only the 3/16" ramp will fit that hole spacing. Williams #1690

UNLESS you choose to use a 'sweat on' ramp

I took the WGRS sight off one of my bighorns, because I had to run it so low, it was almost off the elevation slide

I took the WGRS sight off one of my bighorns, because I had to run it so low, it was almost off the elevation slide

I have never tried a WGRS with the front sight combination I suggest... I use the FP peep sight which has more travel. I am guessing with the WGRS you would need a ramp and a .375N front sight - No Hood.
Keep shooting muzzleloaders - They are a blast!!
