Anyone fish for catfish in Hearts Lake? I'm a southern boy and would like to know if they bite on stink bait out there?

I do not know if they are biting out there this time of year.

But just a tidbit of knowledge, I hope you are not eating anything out of there. I know they were doing a big survey to see if the water was any good from there a couple of years ago. With all the chemicals and fertilizers that were leaking in there from the Wilcox farm.

I put my boat in there about 3 years ago to do some bass fishing and it took me 4 washes and two days to get teh scum off of the side of the boat.

Good Luck with catching them.

What is it about all the fish and game. Just about the time I feel good about trying something new it's been ruined before I get to it. :bash:
