There will be a work party day. This is approved by WDFW. Mowing for the dog training area has begun. I have not been involved in this last push but, a group of folks did a good job of "upping the ante" on pressuring WDFW via State Lands Managers, Senators and some other groups. Kudos for taking up where they kicked me out!  :hello:

Anyways, If you would like to join in on the upcoming day(not set just yet) PLEASE go fill out your WDFW CERVIS form now. There are some drop downs which don't match anything which we are doing. Just select something and call it good. This hasn't been updated in years. Just write in the box Cherry Valley. Its easy. I finished mine in about 5-10 minutes max.

I'll update this when I hear which dates have been selected for the clean up/weedwacking day.

Way to stay on top of this.  I think the lack of management of these great properties is a crime, especially since there are groups willing to do the upkeep for free.

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I will not help until they have armed officers in the parking lots. Fricking tweakers have kept me out for 4 years now. Sad.

lol- I've been there a lot. I pick up garbage. I didn't pick up the zip lock baggy full of poop but, the oil jug was dropped off at Smiley's Pro Lube for recycling. Haven't picked up or seen any needles. There are also game cameras which go up and come down on a regular basis around all the properties. Mostly chasing a few area poachers a few years back.
