Not bad for a Colt at all. Its a basic rifle but its a quality one.

I know someone, who, back in late 2007, before the election was decided, sold a 6920 for $1,700.

I think it was defective, though, because no word of it ever freaking out and killing a bunch of people.

Yeah the AR market is so over saturated now its ridiculous. The plus being that makers are now having to be ALOT more competitive. There are some really tricked out rifles for about $1200-$1500. where 4 years ago those rifles would be about $2000-$2500. Its a great time to be looking for a new AR.
