My daughter has her first High School Equestrian meet in Moses Lake starting the 20th of March for three days.  I'm going catfishing!!!  Yippee

 :chuckle:  :chuckle:  :chuckle: Look into fishing down toward Soda Lake also. Plus you can get into some early spawning Walleye. Maybe send me a pm before you come over and I might give ya a little insight on where it might be good. I plan on hitting a few spots this weekend for rainbows and browns

Good point, I like early June.  Snake River?  Potholes Res?  Osage River down in MO?  Or some other spot?  What do you think?

ive always done best at the mouth of the snake on the columbia. water is usually really shallow and we would walk out chest deep to cast lol.

Another good spot I've caught some nice ones is the Walla Walla river down towards the mouth.  This thread is making me want to dig out the old deep fat fryer.

I've had some awesome days on the Walla Walla. About 3 miles up from the mouth at an old bridge abutment. There are some killer holes in there. I know a guy who noodles around there and he claims he can throw 100 lbs of fish on the bank in an hour. Sounds pretty insane. Love to see him do it, but I wouldn't want to get caught. Noodling is illegal in Washington.
