Good budget portable blind?
« on: July 19, 2017, 09:41:58 PM »
Anyone have any recommendations for a decent two person portable blind?
Seen some ones that look decent online for under  $75. Don't really wanna pay more than that.

Thanks

Depends on what type of blind you're looking for.  I like my portable fence-style ground blind that can raise and lower each section to different heights.  Rolls up around the posts into a small shape for my small carry bag.  Can't recall which brand it is, but similar to the Hunters Specialties models.  These are in the $20-$25 range.

I have a pop up fully enclosed blind.  Similar to the Ameristep $60 blind.  It moves way too much in the high winds for my liking, even when staked down.  Each have their place.

The ground blind gets the most use for me.

Only blinds I've seen in that kind of price range are the doghouse style pop ups and they may say two man but is going to be tight. They are cramped quarters and if you're trying to bow hunt out of it good luck getting to full draw was impossible. If you're going to have more than one person find a hub style blind, but they're most likely not in that price range.

Now then, get your equipment—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.  Gen. 27:3

I came a crossed a guy using a small, cheap two tone green dome tent as a blind. He leaves the netting up but windows and doors open and had four direction views. He said it was $24 Kmart special, LOL

I am now looking into some smaller fence style blinds. Might be a better option
