Lick Creek muzzy Bull

Well I drew a lick creek muzzy Quality Bull tag it was my second choice. I have never hunted this unit and was hoping some
one on here has and might help me on where to start scouting .I will be heading down this weekend for the first time to look around and get a grip on the unit any help would be great.

I would initially start scouting inside a two mile radius centered on Black Ranch/Smoothing Iron ranch.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

Personally I'd concentrate on scouting in September unless you just want to see what the unit looks like and where the roads are.

 Get back in on the north end of the 4027 road or anything east of there up to about a mile east of the Mt Misery turn off/warming cabin.  Depending on the weather you should still be able to locate them by listening at the tops of the canyons and draws.
There is no greater respect to have for wildlife than to harvest an animal fairly and use it's flesh to feed your family.  ~me

I figure the first trip is just looking at the lay of the land and check out some roads  I will be going down 2 times in August and September just don't want to waste my tag  for lack of preparation
