I don't show land ownership on my PC anymore.  Asking me to buy it when I already have it.   >:(
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.

I tested the app out on a road trip to Wyoming last week. I don't like it for several reasons. When there is no cellular service, the "off grid" maps display private parcel landowner information but don't highlight public land, nor the HMAs or walk-in areas.  Also, as you move your present location moves also to the edge of the map before recentering. That makes it tough to see what's just ahead.

There does not appear to be any way to set the map orientation as "track up" which again makes it difficult to view what you are approaching.

The chip is superior for my purposes.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

The chip and downloaded map should work the same, you need to mess with it for a while to get it figured out.  Make sure you have the layers you want checked when you download them and they should be there offline.  When I download, I check most of the layers and it looks like a big mess.  Then, after you download it you can uncheck a bunch and get it where you want.

Having the private and BMA (MT) stuff on there is hugely valuable to me.  I don't remember if they have the WY equivalents or not, but you can usually figure it out with just the private boundaries.
