swaro spotter problem

Just pulled out my spotter and found out the magnification adjustment is locked up. Weirdest thing in the world because it wasn't dropped or anything. I emailed the company and they said just send it in.
i can do that, but its expensive and a hassle.  Has this happened to anyone else, and what is the fix if any?

I'd send it to Swarovski. For the cost of shipping you will have it repaired correctly.

 Just send it back Bryan, they will go through and make it like new again, pretty good company to deal with.

 Post up what the issue was.
