theft of gold gear
« on: August 22, 2017, 09:00:50 AM »
Hello, a am very sorry to report the theft of all my prospecting gear, It was loaded onto a trailer to move to my new home and someone broke into my garage, hooked up and towed it away. I had a 4" keene dredge with a KAC compressor, diver air hoses and regulators, wet suits, kevlar gloves and special boots, weights. Also a 2" dredge/highbanker set up (gold king), a keene dry washer, two gold vacs, a gold miner spiral wheel, tons have smaller equipment. A lot of the gear was marked with the outline of a bell, some had been painted orange for high vis. The licence on the trailer is 1355-YI. This happened just north of Spokane. Please keep an eye open for me.
Thanks
Dale :'(
I've slowed down enough in my old age to finally let the game catch up to me

Pretty sad. Sounds like an inside heist. If someone broke into your garage to steal a  trailer already loaded with gold gear, it is likely that they already knew it was there. Likely a neighbor, fellow gold prospector or a "friend". Got kids? Maybe a friend of their's?

I know many dislike Facebook, but post on any community pages with pics if you have them. More stuff gets found via FB because it's fast and most people hate thieves.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

:yeah:  My shorthair got loose and went into town, several people saw her and then she was seen with two homeless people who sort of adopted/took her to be their dog. I posted on facebook and bam within a few hours people saw my dog and held the two homeless people until we could get there. We got my dog back but may not have gotten her if it wasn't for facebook.
