We have killed and hung deer for years, in 50 to 70 degree weather for up to a week(day time temps), nighttime would get cold enough to put a glaze on it. Get the guts out ASAP, Get it hung in the shade ASAP, Get the hide off ASAP, get it clean, wiped off, bagged, peppered, nose and ears duct taped, don't let the sun hit it and you will be good to go. We have never lost a deer. Now at 80 degrees or higher, that has never been attempted by our camp.
