I believe Bone posted a link to their website a page or so up.  I think it's cheap and I'd like to see a lot of us from this board at the banquet last year.  I think we could really have a good time in that club and add to their membership.  There are some real movers and shakers in that club and you could make a real difference with them.  At least that's the feeling I get and I'm going to continue with the club and try and be active.

I hear they have a club Rendezvous in Packwood at some ranch.  People bring their motorhomes and camp and shoot bows/3d for 3 days together.  Sitting around camp fires with a beer listening to some of the stories from those old buggers would be fun.  I got a big motorhome that has three beds in it and I'm planning on going.

Then to the right in small letters you will see a title about WSB.  Click o nit and then on the left a link will appear "join the WSB"   as you will see its actually $15 for a year membership.  $20 for supporting meaning you give a little extra.

Thanks for your interest guys.......THATS AWESOME.  and it would be good to see alot of folks join up.  Everyone is always coplaining about losing rights and wondering what they can do.  A united voice has alot of pull in this state.

Thanks everyone!  Huntwa is  %100 correct.  No special tag, no special hunt for archery.  It is my choice and legal right to use a bow duing the modern season IF I have a MODERN TAG.  This means I am not hunting with a bow during the archery season.  These are self imposed limitations.  The special permit I was discussing above is the one everyones applying for for modern rifle late buck.  That is a hunt I WANT to do, and can't if I hunt normal archery.

The guy poached the deer because he is a greedy ass, and shot it the day before the season starts, most likely because he didn't think anyone else was around.  HE IS A LUCKY *censored*, I broke my camera.  He is also lucky I didn't have my gun or I might have confronted him.

Interesting that you chose to hunt with a bow during modern season.
A lot of things go on in the pasayten when poachers think they are the only ones in the area. You are lucky he did not spot you in your blaze orange vest.

Just my two bits.

I'll scan an application and maybe you guys can save it to your desktop and then print it....or I suppose contact Kim.  I'm not sure what is wrong with it Killbilly.  Thanks for thinking about supposting the club.

Chopaka, many things crossed my mind up there.  I was mad, frustrated, adrenaline was alread flowing because I had jsut rolled down the mountain.   For one, it was the day before season so I didn't have orange on and I was scouting.  That is one of th ereasons I didn't have big heroics and run up there.  Not much could have happened if I would have confronted him except he would have for sure abandoned the deer.  This way he probably at least tagged it and collected it.  If my camera would have been working I'd got good enough photos for evidence and gave the dept. something more to go on.  When I do where my blaze orange, and I do.  i often take it off for photos.  The pattern is a real good custom one thanks to my wife and with all of the yellows and oranges of the fall, I still blend in rather effectively, especially for deer, but for humans as well.

You'll note its a prety simple form.  You can either click on the picture, then save it to your desk top and/or print it.  ORRRRR because it is so simple, just note what it askes for, and send a check with your information in and I bet that would work fine for Kim.  I didn't mena to turn this thread into a membership drive, but anyone interested its a great cause.   Then go out and kill a big one and get that award next year.  I'll keep it safe for you this year.

Bone, I could have been a little more explicit. Kim said that she thought someone was working on the website and the form wasn't working right. But my form is in the mail. Thanks for the heads up on this Organization

Glad to hear you are using adequate hunter orange safety precautions. Some of the things we all see going on are troubling, it would be horrible to read about a bowhunter being shot during modern firearm season because the shooter mistook him for a coyote or some other lame excuse ginned up by his defense council.

Well Congrats again Bone. I want to know what you said in the little speech you gave. Did you thank your family, friends, fellow Hunting-Washington.com members? Also did you thank the other hunters for not having the preserverence to attempt such a hunt? Inquiring minds want to know?
