right on, I'm going to hit Bateman Island this weekend. Got a handicap fisherman onboard so I'll need to be able to use a dock to get him aboard.

Best day for us so far bite wise. 8 take downs. Hooked 4 of them, landed 2. Had a double on that crossed each other and busted both off. Taking my dad, hell of a fisherman, but getting old and has trouble controlling the fish, but I will keep handing him the rode when he's with us. One more day and he's headed home. We have to hang on to him when the fight is on, funny #$%#$, but he has a ball. Good times

thanks, he is loving every minute of it. Went 3 for 5 today, and didn't break any off for a change. fish are in great shape. Marked way more fish the last two days, saw a few others caught today as well.

3 for 4 today plus a jack. Got are first dark fish. Tomorrow is the last day for me. Wont be able to go again until late next week and I don't fish 4 them much past the 25th of September. On a normal year, that seems to be when you need to start weeding through them to get the quality fish and I usually have all I need and then some. this year I think the quality will hold a week or so longer.

well, that was a wasted morning. water usually runs between 40,000 to 80,000 cfs. it was running 130,000 this morning. we stayed until 8 to see if it would start dropping, nada. The water was in the trees, no way to keep your gear clean, wasn't worth the headache. Tough enough this year with perfect conditions. Don't no why they would pump that much water, I have never seen it that high this time of year. Guess I will have to squeeze in one more trip now. Need one more to keep the relatives happy.

Squeezed that trip in. I would strongly suggest if you are planning a trip, to go now. It picked up big time. most the fish are still in good shape, but they go down hill fast
