Hey there, all new to the forum scene so I hope I'm doing this right but just wondering if anyone out there has used the solid broadhead legend series to hunt with? if so would you recommend, or not so much... anyways hope this gets out there

No personal experience with the head, only the guys that make and sell it and they are great. Fantastic customer service and will talk with you like a friend and not just a number. I've heard great things about the head. I'd also look at the iron will outfitters head...

I've been shooting solids for the last two years.  They fly really good for me and the performance on deer and elk has been impressive.  I would have no problem recommending them.

thank you guys for the input I was shooting g5 montecs but I just wasn't impressed with the way they held an edge, and I would like a little more cutting diameter, especially for elk, Chad E. what is your overall arrow weight with those heads do you know?

HI there welcome.

My experience with that style of broad heads is that they make a lot of noise when flying through the air with todays fast bows. Would probably be fine for traditional bow hunting. My favorite fixed blades are the Trophy Taker Shuttle T-lock,very strong and no noise when flying though the air

My arrows are 450g on the dot.  I've seen a few critters shot with montecs and the performance from the solids was much better.

There is some noise with these and any vented broadheads.  I haven't seen a negative reaction from game because of it.  My bow is really quiet though so your mileage may vary.

Just dont look at the DRTs that are almost identical to the Solid heads. Those ones are complete garbage and just a poor copy of the Solids
