Peaches Scouting update
«
on:

First time in the unit this year, Elk everywhere! I have seen 12 bulls in the last 24 hrs. A great 6x6 with a kicker this morning. Elk are screaming, just posting this incase someone is no seeing elk!! If your not you need to cover a little ground!! Muzzy guys and disabled tag holders are having a great hunt. Rifle tag guys should be jumping for joy. The fire has pushed a ton of elk into the units. Oh and a couple nice bucks.
I will be up there through modern elk, look me up if you see my 2014 f250 silver powerstroke, bowtech sticker on thd back window. Will help anyone that needs help packing or whatever.

Seen an increase of bear sign yet? I'd imagine the fire pushed some out.

Hoping the wind blows hard enough and you accidentally cross over to the goose prairie side
we could definitely use some help. Wife’s hunt starts October 23rd. Hopefully she can get her first elk!!

RT-
I think we may be up around Sheep Creek/Mt Clifty looking for a bull - if you've got any insight we'd certainly appreciate it.
Sounds like things are looking up, though! Big bulls always get me excited...

I just hope to not get trampled, that's my biggest fear.

Getting trampled by all the elk is usually a good problem to have.

I'm thinking about getting one of those bull rider helmet/flak jacket things to keep from getting gored. I wonder if they make them in orange?
