Nevada fox (bucket list filled)
« on: October 09, 2017, 05:56:50 PM »
Got my first kit fox yesterday using a woodpecker in distress call   Been out almost every night for the past two weeks and finally bagged one.  Called in coyotes everyday but let them walk, only if I could have this type of action in Washington LOL!   Saw some red fox in the high country but have had no luck calling them in, just coyotes once again.  What call sequence would you recommend for red fox?   I edited the photo since a BB went into the eye and made a bit of a mess.   :o

Good job! What kind of shells you using?
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

#8 Lead shot.  They are smaller than a jackrabbit, and it dropped her like a bad habit.

Cool!
That'll look great!

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

That is a cool mount!
There is not enough wilderness left in the world, or in the hearts of men.
