Who's going to be kicking BULL Azz in the Peaches area come Monday?  I'll be lurking the Naches....

All yapping aside, it's time to smoke some boot leather and get it done.

Have pack frame and will pack Elk for cold ones! PM me if you need a pack Mule.

GOOD LUCK !!!

Your good! 👍 Going blind doesn't mean Jack when you know how to hunt Elk.😎

My only Controversy is ... Do I use a 6.8 SPC AR, 28 Nosler or my passed down 7mm mauser that my fathers father gave him when he was sixteen and my father handed it down to me when I was 16. My last name of "MOSES" didn't come from being of the persuasion of south of our contental border.😉

Still have plenty of family in Ellensberg and Yakima but Colville is real close.😉 Never asked for anything and I have always hunted public land.

Absolutely nobody around, it was so scary quiet opening day. That I actually checked my opening day permit date again.

Bulls, cows & plenty of grouse.

The bunch of times I've been up there since it opened it was dead, dead. Most I seen was 3 trucks in 1 day, all day.

Passed on two smaller bulls at almost point blank. There's no way I was going to shoot a bull where I was at unless it was really big! I made two attempts on a big bull but couldn't make it happen. Steep,  deep and thick!!! I would find him with the spotting scope. Make my move on the adjacent ridge/hillside but seeing through the stuff on my side let alone the other side once I was down in it was a real chore. I could catch glimpses just couldn't put it all together for a shot. I didn't enjoy hunting the Peaches area as much as I did the Observatory unit.
