Did I get lucky
« on: November 15, 2017, 08:35:46 AM »
I'm a 14 year old kid and just started thinking of bowhunting this August. My first bows are a Hoyt Avenger XT and a Oneida Eagle ESC. Did I get lucky because I got them both for free, the oneida has 2 cracked cams but still for free!

If you can get them to fling arrows down range accurately, no matter what the name is on them then you are lucky for sure.   I bought my first bow from my brother for 50 bucks because he needed gas money for his girlfriend.  Ten years later I finally hunted with it and killed my second biggest buck ever.   Todays standard, that bow was a joke.  That big buck sure didnt think so.
