I prefer ATN brand. Their BinoX-HD line of smart digital binoculars are very good with Full HD camera, combining the tried and true binocular design, with state of the art optics and computer processing. For hunting and watching this variant is the best(I saw a lot of reviews). Here — https://www.atncorp.com/smart-hd-binocular you can find more information.

$1000 seems like a lot up front (it is a lot!), but I guarantee you won’t regret dropping it on the conquest hd’s.

I know you say you're not a Vortex fan, but IF you decided to take a walk on the other side of the tracks, there is a pair of Vortex Razor 10x42's on here, I think for $750 (regularly $1,200). That's the bino's I run, and they are the best I have used. Cant beat their warranty, and cant beat that price... just my  :twocents:

I'm hearing a ton about Maven lately, I've only looked thru 1 pair that a guide buddy of mine had. Personally I was not impressed but I don't know what model they were. I stick to my opinion that the conquest on sale for around 800 is unbeatable. I just bought the wife some Swaro slc hd's, she really wanted the Vortex cause they felt good in her hands but in the end even she realized that optical quality beats ergonomics
