both will be in quemado for a week at a friends cousins ranch thats like 150 section Im pretty sure I will have some pics to share hopefully alot of pics to share

found a nice pile in the Gila down there during my elk hunts...mostly muleys but a couple elk.  found my first antelope shed too (yes, they do shed their horns...look it up  )

    I found two antelope sheds next to one another in Montana.  After showing them off at camp it turned out to be two lefts.

supposedly they do every year....only animal with horns that does.

do they shed the whole horn or just the sheath?
i always thought they shed and regrew the sheath only.

its just the sheath, but i think it would be cool to find one.

The way I understand it is they shed the sheath and it's rare to find them because they deteriorate fairly fast in the elements.  Could be wrong but this is the way it was explained to me.

yes, it's the hair-like sheath.  Pretty rare find.  I found an old thunderhead broadhead and an indian arrowhead the same day...strange.

Im starting to get worried we planned the trip to early got report today that all the bulls they have been seeing are still packin should have planned for the first or second week of april
