This probably a better pic of the 25" buck. You can see the neck is a bit swollen.

i killed a 18-20" 3x3 muley sunday evening on the way out to the truck. if i wasn't so close to the truck on the last night i could hunt, i don't think i would have shot, but i couldn't resist. after 2 solid days of covering every section of land i hunt and seeing only 5 bucks, none of which were legal...i didn't plan on seeing a buck to shoot and didn't pack any gear but my water and my knife. no camera, no pic's sorry.
i also managed to call in a coyote with one of Rick's calls mid-day sunday and smack him...which is kind of ugly when you do it with a 30-06, but hell, one less fawn/pheasant/chicken killer running around i guess, and it was fun.
one of the old guys i was hunting with killed a whitetail doe for the freezer on opening day.
