Archery range Vancouver/Camas area?
« on: December 09, 2017, 07:47:00 PM »
Hey all!

I just moved to the Vancouver/Camas area from Walla Walla.

Back on the east side we had an awesome archery range 20 minutes outside of town, but in my new home I am having a hell of a time finding someplace convenient to shoot.

Anyone have any leads? All I have been able to find is the echoes of a closed range ran by the Chinook Archers.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the area.

We had an awesome archery range in the East Vancouver Camas area that was ran by Chinook Archers up until about 4 or 5 years ago. Lost their lease and haven't come up with anything since. Occasionally they put on a shoot out in Amboy and one in Glenwood.

Other than that Archery world is the place guys go to shoot indoors.

Archery World on Grand in Vancouver has a 20 and 30 yard range. Great pro-shop run by a super couple, Joe and Megan.

It also has 24 hr access to the 30 yard range for a yearly fee.

For outside shooting chinook landing (on the Oregon side near troutdale) has seasonal targets managed in part by the troutdale archery world.  If you have a target, Vancouver lake has some space near where they shoot trap.  The nice folks at archery world can key you in on where exactly.

They also have leagues, and a good pro shop.

Chehalis has a nice public 3D course also.
