Okay, I bought a hen decoy by Primos and the decoys can move slightly. Do I also need to get a Jake decoy to go with it? It is best to used 3 decoys set-up. (2 hens and 1 Jake)

Sounds cool, I guess I will go back and get the jake and another hen. I did not realize turkey hunting could be so exciting, I can't wait to give this a try.

you dont really need to get any dekes, I dont know where, when, or how often you plan on hunting but just like anything else the more toys you have the more fun it gets. but all you really need is a gun/bow and a tag. Calls and camo are more of a necessity, everything else is just more crap to carry. They are fun but unless you plan on spending a lot of time hunting or going east for these birds you are better off getting a mountain bike and some calls and a good pair of shoes. Of course I am no expert, I got one many years ago near Kettle Falls but now I only chase them in sw washington and have yet to kill one of these sneaky *censored*s. (I also am using a recurve so.....).

Yeah dekes are an accessory. I don't even carry mine any more, but people love them.
