Its not hard to understand...    You’ve been hunting your deep woods honey hole with son and family for generations and now you go to scout it and some newbie has a trail cam or 3 staked out there.  You know your dad and family will now have to share that spot opening day and maybe all season with these techno newbies when they see whats on the cam.  You’ve got some choices -

A) give up your family honey hole
B) share it
C) cut down the cams
D) hold a sign in front of cam that asks newbies to find another spot and leave sign there.
E) other

Not everyone will make the best choices .  Cutting down cams is wrong.

Along them lines, you take you son,  brother in law, a close friend there and they take a friend and they take a friend.

Another way people find your spot is through pictures taken by your cell phone, with modern tech the cordance is in the. Background. A person can go to the exact spot the picture was taken.

Maybe these trail cams have the same tech,, I don,t know, but maybe.

There can be justice. I read a story on another forum about a guy who traps wild pigs down in the south. He uses a camera that sends him a picture to his phone when there is movement in the trap. He can remotely trigger the trap with this technology so he will wait until several pigs are in the trap before triggering it. The camera also sends him GPS coordinates with the photo and get this he can remotely turn it on or off. He related that he had a camera stolen and of course the thief turned it off. Later he remotely turned it on, snapped a picture and went to the cops. They went right to the guys house and could tell the camera was in his garage. Search warrant based on GPS, busted!
Expensive camera though enough so it was a felony he said.
