They suspended production during the ammo shortage and refuse to comment on the subject. I hound them to no end on facebook, Twitter, and by email; the only thing they have ever said was to use SST since they have the same ballistic coefficient. I've even started making comment of switching to Nosler Accubonds.

Guessing the ELD-X took it's place. ELD-X is a superior bullet and has the locking band that the Interbonds did.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the SST is not as tough as the interbond ie weight retention

That's a good question. They haven't been available for a long time. I think they discontinued them but I'm not 100% sure. Would be nice if they'd let people know.

They are completely different animals. The inter bond is a bonded core bullet similar to the accubond. This ensures that you will not experience core separation from the jacket and increases weight retention. The eld x does have an interlock ring but is not bonded and is essentially a cup andcore bullet and is designed to shed weight and often times the core and jacket will separate.

All I’ve seen then say was that the inter bonds are suspended production.

Not even close. I've tested the 2 side by side. I have a thread that's a few years old on here somewhere showing the results. The Interbond retained weight and mushroomed beautifully, while tye SST often detonated, or at least separated from the jacket. I've been pleased as punch with my Interbonds, glad I bought so many last time I found them.

If you would have started with the Nosler Accubond's. You would have never had to change.👍👍

I don't know why they are not currently producing factory loaded interbonds. I have had great success with their superformance .270 130 gr interbond in the past. 3200 ft per sec with a 130 gr bonded bullet from a factory loaded 270 cartridge is pretty awesome and makes a 270 wsm seem not necessary. They stopped production a few years ago and I ran out of factory loads a year ago. I made due for a year with their sst loads but was not confident with it on elk sized game. They reintroduced it this last spring and i bought 4 boxes before they showed on their website they discontinued production again.

Just go to an accubond and never worry about it again.  I used to shoot the interbonds and loved them, but there are other fish in the sea.

I liked the Interbonds and was sorry they discontinued them.
