Glock 19x
« on: February 06, 2018, 12:29:55 PM »
Dont know if anyone else covered this, but I just saw that Glock is going to be selling to the public the handgun the Army didn't chose. Grip of a  Glock 17 with a slide of a Glock 19.

Anyone planning on getting one?

Went to two places and both were sold out! They also don’t have the finger ridges on the grip but neither does the new gen 5. Not sure if the 1/2” barrel difference between the 17 and 19 me much to me, but that’s just me.
My interpretation of the rules are open to interpretation.
Once I thought I was wrong but I was mistaken.

I went and held one. Feels good in the Hand. Miliatary should have went with it.
A remarkable experience is one where the pain is forgotten so quickly, the frustrations and struggles are forgotten the minute you’re done.

I can’t wait to do it the next time.

I not a Glock guy but I recently held one at Skagit Arms. It actually felt great in the hands and I agree, the army should have chosen it over the Sig.

I believe the choice came down to cost of contract.

Personally I think its a pointless gun for CCW and as a "tactical" gun its meh. and on top of that I don't know if Glock knows but you can already fit the 17rd mags in a G19. If anything id buy a G19 again.
