This last weekend I taught three teenager girls how to butcher chickens. 

I told one of the girls to get the pericardium off from around the heart so that we could cook it.

After a minute of struggling to get it off, she grabbed it with her teeth and tore it. 

Needless to say, I was very impressed.

I'm not sure this girl had ever killed anything before but here she was ripping the pericardium off a freshly stopped chicken heart with her teeth.
