I was picking hucks on the same bush as a bear, neither of us detecting the other's presence. He almost did a backflip when he finally winded or heard me, ran down the hill and then back up, crossing the trail just feet from my partner. That'll get your heart moving.

When I saw a bear on my high buck hunt it was booking it the other way before I even knew what animal the crunching of leaves was from.
