I dunno on Hondas. Have had Honda quads. 2 things to add here. They almost ALL have a low range good to about 25-40mph so power is sufficient for almost all machines. Belts/cvt trans which I don't like are more reliable, easier to fix on trail, cheaper to fix. Honda is a trans with gears not cvt. Good n bad depending. My old Teryx 800 had gobs of torque, plenty of HP and was very good on fuel. Also super reliable tough. Probably more so then the Hondas. 4 seaters are great with Honda and Teryx as its the same frame/wheelbase as 2 seaters and not 99ft long. This is good for trails. I would be concerned whether the Honda has true 4x4 or a limited slip front end still. This is a big deal in nasty spots. Also why I have disdain for previous Honda and Can Ams! Very bad feature to not have locking front diffs imop. I think its about matching your use with machine. Honda probably not great for sport n play. Sure a 700 will be fine if its work/utility and basic trail putting. I think u should consider things besides HP. HP increase really only helps in snow, elevation, mud bogging, racing and SAND! I chose to move up to a RZR Trail for use and the HP was fun! Teryx was a better built machine and much tougher and better mpg.
