Harbor Freight Badland 2500 lb. ATV Winch with Remote
« on: March 15, 2018, 02:47:30 PM »
Anybody have experience with the Harbor Freight Badland 2500 lb. ATV Winch with Remote ? I got one for christmas to mount on my Honda Rancher 350 but have not done it yet. I am kind of worried about what you do if the remote gets lost or broke. Is there a way to operate the winch without the wireless remote?

I have one of the 8k winches and they use the same pin setup as a warn as I remember. They are just a knock off of a name brand, and worse case you can direct wire them like a buddy has to a switch. 2c

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I have one I use to pull cars onto a car hauler trailer, pretty handy to be in the car and remote control the winch putting them on.  I have not used it enough to give an honest review, but so far it works fine
