we cut a track in a swamp and the smell was worse than any yote, my partner about faced and left.My son and I were in a long way up the mowich before light,somethings started screaming and whooping like a howler monkey and threw rocks big rocks ,exit stage left true story..several sightings that year

I use both mouth calls and a phantom electronic. I think both have their good points. I do like to have the phantom when I could be seen from a distance, less movement on my part and a decoy helps distract attention from my position too.

I have two Foxpro Fury's and a Foxpro occ open country caller.  i do way better calling bear's with my hand call. would do better at coyote and bobcat at time's.i'm just starting to hand call more. short ness of breath with my heart stuff. going to call spring bear in idaho or Arizona not sure yet. will be using mainly my bear call's. going to make a bear call tonight out of eastern ceder i got from Arky when i was in oklahoma last year. i like hand call's more. just depend's how my health is. all will work.Rick :hello:

Good luck on your spring bear hunt, Rick, let us know how it goes. Sounds like a ton of fun, Ive never called bears, got to be a blast.
