How to remove post

I want to remove a post in the classified ads and it tells me I can not remove my own post any help would be great

Nobody can remove a topic except admins and moderators. Users can generally remove individual posts but not the topic itself. If you want a topic removed from classifieds you can change the subject to "remove" or "sold" and it will get cleaned up. This is noted in the rules for classifieds. I believe this has been discussed before as well.
