I drew the Mt Spokane North antlerless tag in 2016.  I would most definitely suggest hunting the units farther to the north.  In 12 or 13 days of hunting, I saw 2 moose, a small bull and the cow I shot.  However, I do know of at least 6 cows that were killed in there.  A couple youth tags and 4 others.  It took me 11 years to draw the tag FWIW.  The tags have been cut down quite a bit now so I wouldn't get your hopes up of drawing one anytime soon.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

Looking forward to all that intel when I draw.  Hope it goes the same for Idaho.  Decided to double down this year and increase my odds of ever drawing. :dunno:

sorry...i hate to be "that guy" that drew an OIL moose tag with only one point but i just put it out there so people know that it could happen.  i really need to get sponsored by the WDFW and tell my tale so they can sell more permits and raise more $$ and give me a cut   :chuckle:

First time putting in for moose. My father for years told me its a waste... well between having lived in Alaska for a short time and seeing moose up close and my natural want to hunt something different, I have decided to start putting in for antlerless moose. So far I 100% am going to put in for the 49 degrees north tag. Wanting input on Aladdin or Huckleberry for other options. Any input will be very much appreciated and I will be drowning myself in as much info as I can garner from past posts on here. My chances are slim of being drawn but if I do get drawn I want to try and be 100% ready with a game plan! Thank you in advance!

You didn't mention bull moose permits. I hope you're applying for those as well.
