49 degrees north spring bear tag.
« on: May 13, 2018, 06:32:30 PM »
Buddy and I drew for this unit and are struggling. We live on the westside so we want to make every trip count. Went over first weekend of April to scout and look at different spots. Just went this weekend and did a lot of glassing in high up meadows but haven't seen any sign or tracks. Any suggestions or advice would help out a lot! Thanks

Thank you. Is in between 3000-4000 ft elevation high enough for them? I have been up in the colville national forest off major road.

Tics tics and more tics. Counted 57 on my 3 yo son and I one day and 500 yards of walking. They go low to find green. Last two weeks will be best from the late melt off.

Tough spot. We had no luck this weekend. Really didn't even see any signs of Bear and were all over the place. Did get a tick though and holy moly the mosquitoes are insane. Headed home now, totally bummed. Did anyone else have any luck?

Take a predator call and use it.

RRCalls makes some real nice ones.

I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

Sweet. Congrats to him.
:chuckle:  Her actually.  A sponsor here.  I believe her and hubby both drew the tag.
