Ran into this cougar last week turkey hunting

We were walking down a logging road and this guy came walking up to us at 15 yards.

..And right after the camera was shut off....boom!!  That would be a great ending.

So were you filming the tree and grass or that cougar in the background? :chuckle:

Lol!!! Very true. I was trying to hold camera up and the view finder isn’t very big so I kept looking up at cougar to see where it was.

Bet you did a pantie check not long thereafter.  :chuckle:  Of course with shotguns or other weapons close at hand, you were in pretty good shape dealing with that situation.  Awesome post though.  There's some real tension building as it is walking towards you. I wish the vid was better, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have had the presence of mind to pull out my phone if I saw that cat walking at me, so good on ya!
