Thrilling journey of hunting strange wild boar
« on: May 30, 2018, 04:00:24 AM »
Wild boars are quite common in primary forests. They are fast breeding animal with a variety of foods in the forest including plants, tubers and fruits. Wild boars have long and hard snout for digging soil. They can dig and find tubers 10-25cm underground. Aborigines often use traps to hunt boars because they are too fast to catch by hands. It is also difficult to use spear because of less accurate and less damaged (because boar’s skin is very thick).
This is how aborigines catch the wild boar:
+ Make a trap: use wild wire and piles make by tree branches to make a net
+ Put the trap below a tree, use fruits to bait the boar
+ Climb up the tree, hold the wire connected to the trap
+ Draw the wire while the boar is being in the trap
Aborigines just have basic stuffs to process food such as knife or stone axe so that they often cook in simple ways. Hunted animals will be dissected and grilled on fire after processing. With wild boar, after being dissected, aborigines will use bamboo to cook the boar. Then, they’ll make a fire underneath to boil the boar, you can see in the following video.
