Western WA Whitetail Deer
« on: June 19, 2018, 11:28:35 AM »
Has anybody seen the odd whitetail deer in Eastern King Co?  I had what I would swear was a whitetail doe in my cul de sac in Covington on Saturday.  I have a phone video showing the tail up as it runs across the cul de sac  but am having trouble figuring out how to load.

Seems too far north to be a Columbia Whitetail.  Granted, years ago they ranged all over western Washington and Oregon so it's theoretically possible there could be a small herd nearby.  WDFW studies them as they try to expand their population, so if it is a whitetail it would be worth notifying WDFW.

Will post the video when I can and let everybody throw their $.02 in.
