That guys actions saved that pretty girl. Wonder how many people would actually do that ( jump in front of someone to take the attack). Wonder if he was ex military.

The article said the bear was protecting the body of the missing hiker who was most likely killed by the same bear.

Definitely for my wife and son, probably for quite a few special people in my life, doubtful for a stranger unless it was a kid.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
