The article said the bear was protecting the body of the missing hiker who was most likely killed by the same bear.

Definitely for my wife and son, probably for quite a few special people in my life, doubtful for a stranger unless it was a kid.

No one carrying up there in AK? I don't go to Freddy's without a piece. I used to open carry to the mailbox when a family of Cambodian gangsters lived down the street. I'd absolutely be carrying in Grizzly territory.

I have family that live in Eagle River, praying for the family and hoping others are packing when they go hiking up there.
