Not to mention manage the herd with the correct tag sale amount.

Maybe he's trying to trick those who draw tags into procrastinating their purchase so there's more leftovers back in the hat for the rest of us!

So, while it wouldn't be a positive thing to not have a purchase date; it really could be a positive thing if people didn't know there was a purchase date!  :IBCOOL:

Why would there not be a purchase deadline?  Pretty sure the state wants to reissue those tags and get that revenue.
I'm guessing that results will be too late to allow time to have the purchase deadline of July 31st. Can't really run the 2nd draw any later than they already do. I'm just speculating but that's the way I see it going

if results come out the 10th at the latest that's 21 days to purchase said tag.  I'd say that's an acceptable amount of time.  You could be right and they won't reissue but I'd feel pretty confident in saying that won't be the case.  Everyone is already pissed at them for the "late" draws, I don't see them pulling the added opportunity of the second draw

I have faith that IDFG will NOT leave the second draw money on the table. God bless em I think they’ve realized that after all the western states have posted results hunters will go up against any odds for just one more chance!!!

I'm one more tag away from divorce and having to take a leave of absence from work for "emotional issues" to swing the time off but I'm still gonna send it in the second draw  :chuckle:

Here’s to hoping Idaho loves me more than Washington does. My buddy and I are in for the only two NR tags in the unit, and we are also in separately for the single NR antelope tag in a different unit. I still feel my odds are better than drawing a WA mule deer tag with 17 points.  :chuckle:

AS, that’s because you literally do have better odds!!
KB, you just gotta give her the old “but honey this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!!”...again.
Me, nobody wants to be the guy that draws 3 elk tags in the same year but...honey it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity!!!

You're assuming they actually get results out by the 10th. I'm guessing it will be closer to the 20th

They posted results by their advertised date for OIL what makes you think they won’t make it for this draw?

They almost didn't, they missed the published notification date on superhunts, spring bear(2 hunts) and spring turkey(4 hunts). This is the most difficult and complex of all of the draws with eligibility checks and the total number of different hunts. I have no faith in them to release results in a timely manner at this point
