Independence day shrimp
« on: July 04, 2018, 04:19:52 PM »
Was talking with a buddy about what we were going to do for the 4 of July,  Koke fishing on Merwin, salmon on the sound, oh wait, shrimp is still open....... Bingo, we got our plan.....

Three of us went and hit Squim this morning, dropped 4 pots, let them soak for an hour and by the time we got half way through the shrimp in the 4th pot we had our 3 man limit or 120 each.

We tossed the first two pots we back in after we emptied them so we had to go back and pull them. Here are the pic of the shrimp from those two pots we had to toss back   :bash:

Oh yeah, pot 3 and 4 had so many shrimp in them, each pot filled a 5 gallon bucket over half full (160+ each).

Nice haul but you just ruined my celebration. My wife got out a pound of hamburger, so we are having hamburgers. All the while, I will be thinking about those shrimp  :'(  Enjoy your 4th
