Sling stud picatinny rail
« on: July 07, 2018, 03:45:10 PM »
What is the best sling stud mounted picatinny rail?
Does the single stud mount hold the rail in place?
Is it worth adding a second screw into the stock to hold it more secure?

Any of the aluminum rail sections would work just replace the sling stud with a screw.
Hopefully your stock has a t nut inside. I would add a screw and use 2 screws to hold it.

Funny, I just put one on about 20min ago. I used a weaver sling stud picatinny mount. Part number 48328. It's sits a little high, but its just for a bipod so it worked good for me. Feels nice and sturdy.
