Been the same wording for at least the last three years, with the exception of the department annoucing when they will be available.  I would imagine that is to decrease the amount of inquiries they receive about it though.  I guess that could be the difference but imo that wasnt the point of the addition verbiage.

Bought mine this morning. I don’t know why I procrastinated until the last day though.

You can want it to say whatever you want it to say. But if you did not put in the first time you can NOT buy a leftover. Sorry, Charlie.

Can have mine tommorow since I drew the Bison tag for Alaska, won't have anytime to use it. Side note I have drawn deer every year since they started it.

Oh man!  I forgot to buy my MS deer tag today.  I should probably get down there in the next few weeks and pay for that thing!

You couldn't buy one last year if u were selected after the deadline.  I tried you could not purchase multi season if u were drawn after the deadline!

You most certainly could. There are places that sell licenses with staff that are not trained well. Just hit up another location that knows what they are doing. Been there and done that.

Last year if you were selected and did not purchase or not selected, you could buy anytime after they went on sale. They never sold out of left over tags, as has been the case for deer last couple years

You still can buy a left over multi season tag when they go on sale.  Its not any different from any other year.  Last year was around the 15th.  Can't really see bad mouthing the dept. on that one
