This picture clearly shows why the Barnes TSX is such a sketchy bullet when you get it out past about 400 yards. That's only a cannelure grove causeing the second drag wave... imagine what 3, 4, or 5 deep groves would look like!

You can also see the difference a boattail makes by comparing the turbulence behind the base of each bullet in flight... not hard to see why boattails are so much more ballitically efficient.

Cool pics... thanks for sharing. The picture of the boattail bullet has been the screen saver on my phone for about a year now... nothing cooler than bullets in flight.
