Im a believer....
« on: August 11, 2018, 10:26:13 PM »
Picked up one of Pro Troll new Blinking Dodger, the Green Hornet and im sold.......

Fished Point Defiance and Brown's Point today, caught and released to many fish I lost count, lots of shakers, Jack's, and one native until I hooked this monster.

We ran 3 lines all the time using simular set up but I was the only one with Green Hornet, and I paired it with a Herring Aid spoon. What a deadly combo

I gotta say thou, it was suggested to me by a guy I ran in to Wed at Sportco.  Got a 28" 10 lb Chinook Wed evening, and this 36" 20lb Chinook today  :bdid:

I will admit, this is the biggest salmon I have ever caught in my life  :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

This day and age thats a big fish !!!

No *censored*.... I thought I was snagged on the bottom. It hit, ran, and stripped line from the reel. Watched as my line on the spool got smaller and smaller...... when it finally stopped and did a head shake is when I realised it was a fish and not bottom.
We had to pull up the other two rods and chase this sucker down in a hurry before I ran out of line. It pulled over 370 feet of line from the reel before I got it to turn around and make head wind on it.

I'm still in shock over catch this monster

Yeah, I'm planning on picking up two at John's tomorrow morning.  I'm pretty much a sucker for shiny, blinky things.

I think next year they are just going to imbed a $20 bill in the flasher so we don't feel guilty spending $50 on one of those things.

 :yeah:

i havent drank the koolaid yet , but I see them working all around me. I am still having great luck with my old red racer flasher and coho killer in herring aid, but its getting harder and harder to walk by the row of them at harbor marine and not pick one up :bash:

A true friend is one who goes swimming to net your fish,
Most I know blow it and try to net tail first, and it's gone  :yike:
